Doctor Fishies!!!

Hey!!! Such a coincidence manz..!

Yesterday only, i was tellin Tingz tat i saw tis M'sian blog wit a post featurin her doin a fishie-spa over der.. At the point when i first saw it, was like tinkin wat's tat for?! A trend in M'sia? How cum Singapore dun haf? An idea to substitute for travellin'? Or wat? Drawin a closer distance wit the nature?! Feelin how it's like to be wit lil' fishes?? All kinds of stupid ideas come into my mind!! And Tingz even said tat it's stupid and tat it's most probably jus another kinda OUT-OF-THE-BOX way to make money.. When i share wit her my stupid ideas listed above, she can even ask me to buy some lil' fishes, put them into a fish tank and immerse my feet in der to self-entertain lor..! And, guess wat i told her?? Whaha..! I played along & even suggested tat if i haf to do it tat way, i'll even drip a few drops of aromatherapy oils inside the fishtank lor (sounds kinda "unfriendly" to the fishes though)!!!

So "HENG"!! Jus, I chanced upon an advertisement tat says FISH-SPA or something like dat.. reminds me of our conversation... anyway, den i clicked on it...

And den..!!!

I realised tat...
IT'S TOTALLY UNLIKE DAT OF WAD WE'D IMAGINED DE LOR!!!

I visited the site and to my surprise, saw an embedded video from Youtube featurin' XIAXUE & her mum doin the fishies nibbles spa too!!

*faintz*

Seriously.. I feel VERY "SUA-KU" again lor!!!
Tinkin maybe all along haf tis thingy yet I (or shd i say We) don't even knw!!!

And, the website says:
"Spa of this kind is a fad now and has been seen and reported in Turkey, China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and here in Singapore."

See the video clip below!!!

ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHINE
These fishes are small little chaps that nibble on your dead skin cells by scrapping their tiny mouths against your skin, sort of like exfoliation, the natural way. One of the two strains of fishes that we use in our spa, Garra rufa have been known by multiple common names such as Kangal fish, Doctor fish, Reddish log suckers and so on.

Kangal fishes originate from the Middle East, in rivers and springs of Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Turkey and Syria. They are 9-12cm bottom-dwelling fishes that live in waters ranging from 15°C-28°C. Surprising, they are able to live in thermal waters of 37°C as well. They generally feed on algae at the bottom of the river beds or zoo plankton, microscopic organisms that thrive in rivers and feed on even smaller microscopic organisms.

They are a much researched species of fish in Turkey and is postulated to aid in healing of skin diseases and disorders, one of which is psoriasis1-3, where a cure is yet to be found.

This fish supposedly simultaneously releases some unknown enzymatic secretion and dithranol, a component of dermatological creams to enhance the skin condition by normalizing its pH and helps new skin cells regenerate a little faster than usual.

The only side effect of this is Laughter and Beauty in the native form.

Alrite manz!!! WHaha!!
The above definitely sounds a more logical explanation!!

Hey Besties!!! Tis is like FUN hor?
Hmmm...Maybe.. ... ...
Kekek..

we shd try it too???
