Eva wondered why wedding ring should be worn on the fourth finger? Why not in any other? I came across an article which explains it. Interesting~
Try this out!
- join both of your hands (by facing them palm to palm)
- then, bend your center fingers (to remain joined together by facin the center fingers' back to back)
- as such, the rest of the 4 fingers from each hand should be joined tip to tip to the fingers from the other hand
At this point, when you should see 4 pairs of fingers joined from the tip
- Try to separate your thumbs (*note: moving onli your thumbs & making sure tat the rest are firmly joined together in proper instructed position while doin this!)
- Can they be separated? If yes, join them back & then proceed to do the same for the remaining 3 pairs of fingers, each at a time
If done correctly, you'll realise the fourth pair can't be separated... ^-^
a Chinese excerpt...
The thumb represents parents
They will eventually leave us one day because all human goes thru old age, sickness and inevitably death
The second finger represents siblings
They have their own family to manage / take care & will have to leave us
The little finger represents children
Sooner or later, they will grow up & have to lead & live their own lifes, leaving us too
The fourth finger which we wear our wedding ring on - partner / spouse
It cannot be open at all! Because it represents husband and wife & for this whole life, both of you will be attached to each other~
~~such sweetz explanation~~
